An algorithmic rendering of the Josef Albers series of works Homage to the Square, commissioned by Studio Wayne McGregor in collaboration with The Josef & Anni Albers Foundation and We Not I.
Reference images and colour grading data provided by the Albers Foundations feed a software generator of “homages” which builds a continually evolving sequence of squares based on Albers’ theories of colour interaction.
